|
| Germany has a vast network of motorways. Nevertheless, it does not escape from daily traffic jams because of the proximity of towns and built-up areas. The motorways are exempt from tax and there is no speed limit enforced. On the main roads, the speed limit is 100 km/h and 50 km/h in town. Seat belts are obligatory. The alcohol limit is 0.5 pro mille. |
